Holiday Party 2018

Happy late New Year!!! OHE was able to celebrate the holidays again together at Pinz this year on Sunday, December 16th from 11:00am to 1:00pm. This was our third year getting together down the street at the Kingston Collection for pizza and snacks, drinks, arcade games, and lots of Christmas magic. It was so fun! Santa never fails to disappoint and it is so heartwarming to see the kids receive their gifts from him! (We even had some new neighborhood babies this year!!!) Huge thanks to Jessica Garrett, Anne Caliento, and Janet Geraigery for all their hard work pulling this together.

Here are some photos from the event:

Block Party 2018

We had taken a few years off from getting together in the summer, but brought back the block party this year by popular demand and are so glad we did! We celebrated on Saturday, September 8th from 4:30 to 8:00pm up in the Longview Drive cul de sac. It was a wonderful chance to meet and mingle with all the new neighbors as well as catch up with old friends. Fun times were had by all in the bouncy house, playing lawn games, at the kiddie table, and on the kickball field. We served Big Y pizza and entree trays from Plymouth Catering alongside pot luck sides and apps provided by neighbors. The ice cream truck was a big hit again for dessert!!! Thank you to everyone that came and brought food and drinks (or tables and chairs, supplies, etc.). Special thanks to State Trooper DeAngelis who brought up his work SUV to show the kids, they loved it!! And huge thanks to the planning committee for all their hard work: Anne Caliento, Janet Geraigery, Alysa Lofstrom, Kristen Shoaf, Janine Symes, Tricia Arieta, Sue Kenney, Jennifer Guevremont, and Sarah Pasternak.

Here's some pics from the day:

Such a fun day! What do you think? Should we have a block party in 2019?

Fix-Up Day 2018

Here are some shots of the first OHE Fix-Up Day on August 18, 2018.  Special thanks to Andy, Aiden, Luke, Jake, Colin, CJ, Nolan, and Josh (and the parents they brought).  We mended fences, elevated tree limbs, pulled weeds, picked up litter, killed poison ivy, raked out ruts, and caught up with each other.

Holiday Party and Luminaries 2017

Happy late Holidays and Happy New Year! On Sunday, December 17th we had our second annual holiday party down the street at Pinz in the Kingston Collection! Neighbors came together for pizza and snacks, drinks, arcade games, and lots of smiles and laughter. Santa found us again and delivered gifts to all the kids. It is awesome to see the Christmas magic at work!!! Huge thanks to Jessica Garrett, Anne Caliento, and Janet Geraigery for all their hard work pulling this together.

Later that evening we also held our annual luminary event.  Kits with paper bags and candles had been delivered earlier that week (thank you to everyone who helped assemble and deliver these!) and at 4:45pm everyone lit their luminaries. It was again a beautiful sight to behold!! Love that feeling when a lot of people all come together to pull something amazing off!! Everyone had fun walking or driving around to see the festive cheer. OHE rocks:)

Here's some pics from both events:
