Fall Clean Up and Garden Dedication

Thank you to everyone who came out to help with our fall clean up on Saturday, October 29th: Anne and Joe Caliento, Maria Callum, John Chamberlain, Tim Corr, the whole Garrett family, Jim Muir, Bill Morton, Sarah Pasternak, and John Varitimos.

Besides making the front and back entrances look good and getting them ready for winter, we had a special dedication ceremony at the clean up! OHEC President John Chamberlain presented our resident expert landscaper Jim Muir with a plaque to thank him for all his hard work in these areas over the last 15 years.  Jim has taken extra special care of our front and back gardens over the years, and as he plans to retire soon, this was his last clean up. To show our gratitude and in honor of all his hard work, the front entrance will hereby be known as "Muir Garden"! Thank you again, Jim, we will miss your green thumb! (PS. Thanks to neighbor Jim Wisniewski of Crown Trophy in Pembroke who generously donated the plaque.)

{everyone takes a break to honor Jim}

{John's eloquent speech}
{Jim and his wife Carol}

{the finished plaque hung on the bottom of the OHE sign}

{always smiling John}

{"Seriously, guys...whose rakes are these? I can't go home until these are claimed!!"}
